About Phil Cotton

I created the Profit Intelligence Programme after seeing the same challenges again and again - strong businesses with unclear numbers, and too many decisions made on gut feel alone.

I grew my first company from a startup to £3.5m before exiting in 2018. I then joined the board of an £18m business where revenue was rising but profit was falling. I was brought in to find out why and fix it. Eighteen months later, we had more than doubled net profit and rebuilt confidence in the numbers driving the business.
